Miley Cyrus: Leaves Hannah Montana behind

Miley Cyrus MCA Music, ‘Can’t Be Tamed’
Miley Cyrus as she sheds the last vestiges of Hannah Montana. Leaving the country tinged pop of “Party In The USA” and her previous albums (at least for the meantime), she goes into club party dance mode for her latest album, “Can’t Be Tamed.”
She opens up with the swanky dance of “Liberty Walk,” and as if the ear filling synth sounds is not surprise enough, Miley starts dropping rap like rhymes in the verses. It’s all in good taste, of course, you just need a moment to adjust to Miley’s new sound.
She continues down this road, adding euro tinged beats on tracks such as “Who Owns My Heart” and “Robot;” and then goes on a Ke$ha mode in “Permanent December.” Miley’s all about expressing herself these days and she says it all in the title track.
She, however, tones down the synthesizers on “Two More Lonely People,” allowing the “old” Miley to shine through in this driving pop rocker. The piano decked ballad “Forgiveness And Love,” which comes as a natural progression from “The Climb,” her reworking of Posion’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” and the lush “My Heart Beats For Love” are there to keep fans in the loop.
‘Simply… Suy’, Suy, Ivory Music
Acoustic pop covers galore! This is what you’ll get with Suy, the latest vocalist to bite into the creamy pie of "acoustic pop covers" that so many singers have already sunk their teeth into. Thankfully, she has the pipes to pull it off.
Rather than taking the soulful, bare bones route, Suy goes for a more soothing delivery. The calming vibe to her voice gives an added dimension to '80s faves like Tiffany’s “Could’ve Been” and Gloria Estefan’s “Words Get In The Way.”
Making use of an unadorned piano, Suy delivers her take on Debbie Gibson’s “Lost In Your Eyes” and Fra Lippo Lippi’s “Later;” then adds a box drum (kahon) to her fun, dead on mimicry of Lenka’s “The Show.”
Meanwhile, her covers of Earth Wind & Fire’s “Every Now & Then,” her original song, “You’re All That I Need” and her highly stylized version of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” give a sampling of Suy’s R&B roots.
All this, along with a duet with Paolo Santos for Jason Mraz and Colby Calliat’s “Lucky,” Mandy Moore’s “Cry,” and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” make "Simply... Suy" one of the better acoustic pop covers albums around.

New “Mature” Attitude to Miley Cyrus: Tiffany and Debbie Gibson Weigh in

Miley Cyrus, growing up too soon, or just doing a little harmless teenage boundary pushing? At the moment it’s a hot topic of conversation, and Yahoo Music Blogs decided to find out where 80’s pop idols, Debbie Gibson and Tiffany would weigh in on the debate.
Who have been there as two ladies, and know what Miley is going through, Debbie (who now goes by Deborah, being all grown up herself) and Tiffany have strong opinions on the subject. And, true to their 80’s pop rivalry roots, very different opinions at that.
Tiffany believes that Miley is stepping into a more mature image “appropriately,” thanks to guidance from her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Cindy Cyrus. According to Tiffany, Miley’s more risqué outfit choices, songs and behavior (like faking a sultry kiss with a back up dancer during her performance on “Britain’s Got Talent”) is all part of a well managed attempt to move into a market that is all about “pop-star-as-sex-symbol.”
Deborah Gibson, on the other hand, praises the young star’s talent and easy going attitude, but thinks that her new image is “a little too much too soon.” Gibson wishes that Miley would realize that childhood is worth embracing, and not push her’s away.
For those of you enjoying pleasant 80’s high school flashbacks thanks to the names “Tiffany” and “Debbie Gibson” you may want to check out the SyFy channel’s upcoming “Mega Python vs. Gataroid. Gibson and Tiffany are pairing up again as the stars of the film, this time they’ll be doing battle with a pair of giant mutant monsters, rather than battling each other on the pop charts.

About the end of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus talks

Miley Cyrus in this interview she talks about the end of the long running show Hannah Montana. The reporter asks, “Are you excited or sad for the show to end?”

“I’m actually looking forward to it. It’s exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. Right after this I go into an independent film called LOL with Demi Moore. With Hannah, I’ve been so attached for so long. It is so commercial and so franchised and done for such a big market. I’m going off that type of show into a film that is an indie movie. There isn’t a huge distributor behind it. I’ll be making a film that we think is going to touch people. It’s got a lot of edginess to it and it’s definitely not just for the fan base of Hannah Montana. So that’s both exciting and nerve wracking. You never know how people are going react to that. But you’ve just got to choose things that you actually like and that are right for you at the time.”
I’m excited that this show is over, too. Now I don’t have to have that crap on my TV. And as for the “film” your making, PLEASE DON’T! Spare us all from your retarded bullcrap. You brainwashed my little sister. (YOU SUCK)
I wonder what criminal act she’ll get caught with first? Drug possession, public nudity, or DUI (my bet is on the DUI).

‘Calls Her Boyfriend Kevin’ Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus calls her boyfriend Kevin when they are out, because other people can’t say his real name.
The teen star has been dating actor Liam Hemsworth since they met on the set of movie The Last Song last year. They get on brilliantly, with Miley saying she’s never felt so settled before.
Liam is from Australia, and has found some people can’t understand his accent. When coupled with his unusual name, many of Miley’s American pals struggle. Although the 17 year old can handle that she gets annoyed when store workers muddle his name, so has come up with a foolproof way of ensuring it no longer happens.
Miley gets frustrated when the people in coffee shops screw up Liam’s name – often writing Leon on his takeout cups,” a source explained to the National Enquirer. “So now, when she or Liam are asked for his name when they are ordering drinks they just say, ‘Kevin.’”
