Costar Hemsworth to Miley Cyrus gets cosy

It seems 'Hannah Montana' star Miley Cyrus has decided to take her summer fling with 'Last Song' co-star Liam Hemsworth to the next level.
The Australian actor was in the conferences for Cyrus's sold out gig at the Staples Center last night, and he wasn't just there as a fan like Ashley Tisdale and Miranda Cosgrove.
According to a source, Hemsworth is officially her boyfriend and the couple have been dating for more than three months, E!Online reported.
"The twosome didn't try to hide their affection later
at her private after party at Katsuya, where they were "lovey-dovey," the source added.
And interestingly, her ex-boyfriend, underwear model Justin Gaston is reportedly spending time with Cyrus's best friend, Mandy Jiroux.
Gaston was in the audience to support Jiroux as she performed with her group 'The Beach Girl 5' at Upper Manhattan.

Miley Cyrus points to new tour, album and movie as signs she's maturing, in career and life

NEW YORK - Miley Cyrusdoesn't need to look at the music charts to know that her songs are making a connection with the fans all she has to do is update her Twitter page.
"I'm stoked that people have been so supportive," she says of her latest project, the EP "The Time of Our Lives. "On my Twitter, (I get) so many replies like 'This song inspires me' and 'This inspires me.' ... One of the reasons why I love that site is being able to look what people are saying about the record."
Of course, having a best selling record is good reassurance too and Miley getting plenty of it these days. The EP is near the top of the charts and her song "The Climb" has been No. 1 on Billboard's adult contemporary chart for weeks.
It's just another example of the maturing career of the 16-year-old Miley. While she's still known to millions as the star of the Disney phenomenon "Hannah Montana," she's not just a teen queen anymore. VH1 crowned her as one of their "Divas," she's in an upcoming movie playing a defiant teen and she's calling the shots on her "Wonder World" tour.
Miley currently talked to The Associated Press about her new gig, growing up and what being a diva means to her.
AP: Describe the new album "The Time of Our Lives."
Miley: It is a transitioning album. ... Everything is like a stepping stone. And that was actually to introduce people to what I want my next record to sound like and with time I will be able to do that a little more and timing is just everything. So it is actually about us working our way up to being able to do the music you really love.
AP: A lot of your music you write yourself. Do you ever write a song and go, "Oh my God, wait, that is too personal, I don't need to put that out?"

Taylor Swift VMA Incident on Miley Cyrus Weighs In On Kanye West

Miley Cyrus is a good friend of Taylor Swift's, so it's fitting that she would be upset with Kanye West for ruining Swift's big moment at the VMAs on Sunday. Cyrus told Portland, Oregon, radio station Z-100 that if that had happened to her, she wouldn't have let West steal her roar so easily."I'd tell him to get off the stage. It's her moment. For those times that you are able to tell your speech, you do it," she said in a radio interview on Monday. "And it's disrespectful as an artist, and I know he even said his family would not be glad if someone did that to them."The singer, who, despite being nominated, couldn't attend the show because she was prepping for her tour, said that West only did it to get people's attention and that, well, obviously it's working. "It's what he does it for. He does it for press. Don't feed into it. He's gonna get what he needs by getting to be in tabloids because of that," she explained, adding that any apology he has offered is because of all the negative attention. "His apologies are just because he's getting flak for it."In addition to weighing in on the West/Swift VMA controversy, Cyrus also commented on two other big events of the night: the performances by Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. "I heard there was some crazy stuff and I heard Beyoncé's performance was off the chain," she said of the woman she picked as her VMA winner last week. "People said that it was so perfect; you don't know how it was real."As for Lady Gaga's bloody and theatrical performance, well, Cyrus thinks that's just Gaga being Gaga. "That's why people love her! Because you never know what she's gonna do and something unique," she explained. "There's no one like her. She's bigger than life. Same thing as Beyoncé. That's why you want to watch them. They're so unique."
